Point of Sale > Dashboard

POS dashboard

What it is for: The trading day at a glance (server date)
List: columns and filters: 8 tiles: Sales today, Transactions, Average basket, Returns, Open sessions, Registers, Offline sales, Pending sync. No filters, no date picker on screen
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Point of Sale > Point of sale

Till - Workspace

What it is for: Full-screen till opens over the ERP. Lists the company's registers and lets a cashier open or continue a session
List: columns and filters: Cards per register: Code, state pill, Name, Session, Last sync. Header: ONLINE/OFFLINE, Last sync, Pending count
Buttons and actions: Open session / Continue session, Secure this device, Sync now, Leave POS
Permission needed: pos.view (list), pos.sell (bootstrap), pos.session.open

Till > Workspace

Till - Open register

What it is for: Count the opening float and open the drawer for the shift
List: columns and filters: Opening float box; denomination table (Denomination, Count, Amount); Counted opening cash
Buttons and actions: Open session, Cancel
Permission needed: pos.session.open

Till > Sell

Till - Sell

What it is for: The scan-to-cart loop: scan, quantity, discount, customer, hold, recall, return, coupon, loyalty
List: columns and filters: Scan box; category tabs (All + categories); product tiles; cart (Item, Qty, Price, Disc, Amount); totals (Items, Discounts, Coupon, Loyalty, VAT, Rounding, TOTAL). Keys F1-F12, Del, Esc, Ctrl+L, Ctrl+R
Buttons and actions: Qty F3, Price, Discount F4, Void line Del, Hold F6, Recall F7, Return F8, Coupon, Loyalty, Customer F2, Price check F5, Cash in/out F11, Bill disc., Close session, Cancel Esc, PAYMENT F12
Permission needed: pos.sell

Till - Payment

What it is for: Take cash, card or other tenders (single or split) and complete the sale
List: columns and filters: Balance due / Change; tender buttons (one per active payment method, online-only ones hidden when offline); quick cash buttons (balance, 50, 100, 200, 500); paid lines
Buttons and actions: Tender buttons, quick cash, remove a paid line (x), Back Esc, Complete sale
Permission needed: pos.sell

Till - Cash in / out

What it is for: Move cash into or out of the drawer, or make a safe drop
List: columns and filters: Movement buttons: Cash in, Cash out, Safe drop; Amount; Reason
Buttons and actions: Record, Back
Permission needed: pos.cash.move

Till - Return

What it is for: Look up the original bill and give back what is left on it
List: columns and filters: Receipt number box; table Item, Sold, Returned, Left
Buttons and actions: Find, Return these, Back
Permission needed: pos.return (look-up route) then pos.sell (the return bill)

Till - Pop-ups

What it is for: Small dialogs opened from the sell screen
List: columns and filters: Suspended bills list (label, lines, total); customer search results; coupon code; loyalty points; protected token; product search results; number pad
Buttons and actions: Recall, Apply, Redeem, Choose customer / Walk-in, Close, Back
Permission needed: pos.sell

Till > Receipt

Till - Receipt

What it is for: On-screen receipt after a sale: number, change, fiscal status, send status
List: columns and filters: Receipt, Change, Fiscal status, Legal ID (fiscal profiles), Recorded (Sent / Queued - will sync)
Buttons and actions: Print / reprint (Ctrl+R), New sale
Permission needed: pos.sell

Till > Close

Till - Close session

What it is for: Count the drawer, give a reason for any difference, close the session
List: columns and filters: Expected cash (hidden on a blind close); denomination table; Counted cash; Reason
Buttons and actions: Close session, Back
Permission needed: pos.session.close

Point of Sale > Operations

Register sessions

What it is for: Every session ever opened, newest first (200 rows)
List: columns and filters: Session, Register, Business date, State, Float, Counted, Variance
Buttons and actions: None (read only; approval of a close is API only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Cash movements

What it is for: Every drawer movement across sessions (200 rows); Cash drops filters safe drops
List: columns and filters: When, Register, Session, Kind, Amount, Reason
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Planned screens

What it is for: Placeholders saying what is not built
List: columns and filters: Tag 'Not built yet', purpose, 'What is missing', a disabled button
Buttons and actions: None
Permission needed: None

Point of Sale > Transactions

POS sales and returns lists

What it is for: The bill journal filtered as sales, returns or offline bills (up to 100 rows)
List: columns and filters: Receipt, Sold at, Register, Kind, State, Offline, Total
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Voids and cancelled bills

What it is for: Bills filtered by state voided or cancelled
List: columns and filters: Same columns as the sales list
Buttons and actions: None (no void button anywhere in the screens)
Permission needed: pos.view

Exceptions and audit log

What it is for: The audit trail; the exception view keeps offline work, voids, refused closes, overrides, cash out and safe drops
List: columns and filters: When, Action, Register, User, Offline, Reason
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.report.view

Point of Sale > Pricing & promotions

Promotions

What it is for: Automatic percentage, fixed or special-price rules that the server recalculates
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Type, Value, Minimum basket, Usage (priority), Status
Buttons and actions: New promotion, open record, Edit/Save/Discard/Back
Permission needed: pos.view (list), pos.configure (save); screen buttons show only to company admins

Coupons

What it is for: Typed-in coupon codes with limits, online only
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Type, Value, Minimum basket, Usage (redeemed/limit), Status
Buttons and actions: New coupon, open record, Edit/Save/Discard/Back
Permission needed: pos.view / pos.configure; company admins only on screen

Loyalty programs

What it is for: Points earned per AED spent and their value when redeemed
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Points per currency, Value per point, Status
Buttons and actions: New program, Run expiry, open record, Edit/Save/Back
Permission needed: pos.view / pos.configure; company admins only on screen

Gift cards, vouchers, store credit

What it is for: Issue and manage stored-value instruments (the same list, filtered by kind)
List: columns and filters: Masked code, Customer, Balance, Status, Expiry, Manage. Manage panel: movements (Movement, Amount, Balance, Date)
Buttons and actions: Issue, Manage, Recharge, Expire / breakage, Reverse, Close
Permission needed: pos.view / pos.configure; company admins only on screen

Point of Sale > POS setup

Registers

What it is for: The checkout terminals of the company
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, State, Session, Last sync
Buttons and actions: None - there is no New register button (create is API only)
Permission needed: pos.view (list), pos.configure (API create/edit)

POS profiles

What it is for: The rules of a till: tax-inclusive prices, discount limits, float, blind close, variance, offline limits
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Opening, Blind close, Tolerance, Offline selling
Buttons and actions: None - read only; profiles are made by the POS setup call only
Permission needed: pos.view

Payment methods

What it is for: Tenders the till accepts
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Kind, Drawer, Offline
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Point of Sale > Administration

Reason codes

What it is for: Written reasons for overrides, voids, cash movements and variances
List: columns and filters: Code, Name, Applies to, Required
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Point of Sale > Hardware

Device monitor

What it is for: Every active register, its state, queue and last contact
List: columns and filters: Register, State, Pending sync, Offline sales, Last sync
Buttons and actions: None (read only; enrol/revoke device is API)
Permission needed: pos.sync.manage

Point of Sale > Synchronisation

Pending transactions

What it is for: Outbox items not yet synced (also shows failed ones - both menus open the same list)
List: columns and filters: Received, Kind, State, Tries, Error
Buttons and actions: None (read only)
Permission needed: pos.view

Applications > Point of Sale

POS features and field settings

What it is for: Company switches for promotions & coupons, loyalty & stored value, suspended sales, card terminals; field rules for coupon end date and stored-value expiry
List: columns and filters: Switch list with on/off; field rules Hidden / Optional / Required / Read only
Buttons and actions: Turn a switch on/off, set a field rule
Permission needed: company administrator
